Soupy Saturdays at Back Alley Music

Over the cold Winter months Back Alley Music serves up their Soupy Saturday's campaign.

They started Soupy Saturday's at Back Alley Music back in 2007. They teamed up with local Chef, Robert Pendergast for the three Saturday's leading up to Christmas in 2007. Doing so, they raised over $400 from donations of soup sales for the Charlottetown Food Bank. It was so successful that they decided to do it again the following Christmas and now it has become a monthly happening at the store in benefit of numerous great causes. They have a different chef or volunteer on the third Saturday of each month preparing soup and always a great mix of local musicians from PEI playing. In 2009 and 2010 members of the PEI Privateers volunteered their time and cooking abilities to Back Alley's great causes.

Feel free to stop in and have a bowl of soup and listen to some music in their cozy store.

Back Alley Music is located at 69 University Ave and the phone number is 367-3311 if you have any questions. http://www.backalleymusic.ca
